The symposium will be addressing the lions, tigers and bears (oh my!!!) that we face on our journey to OZ.
Wherever our destination, wherever the place is that we are trying to get to, we will encounter some very scary and
uncomfortable circumstances and situations but instead of turning back or running away, we have to make a song out of it (as they did in the movie).
How do we handle the things that we encounter on our yellow brick road, whether in finances, health, or our purpose?

The workshop is for All who are parenting and or co-parenting a child between the ages of birth to 18 and are interested in enhancing their parenting skills in the areas of : healthy communication with child/adults, positive co-parenting, communication with the education setting and building skills mastering the challenges of single parenting.

The Botvin’s LifeSkills Training: Parent Program is designed to help parents strengthen communication with their children and prevent them from using drugs. This is a holistic and comprehensive approach to help parents teach their children the skills that help them resist the threats of tobacco, drugs, and violence. These tools help parents prepare their children for a successful transition from adolescence to early adulthood.
Funding for this project has been provided by the Department for Health and Social Services, Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health-‐State of Award SP015607 from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services.
